In a standard 52-card pack, the best royal flush is about 1 in almost 650,000. The odds are better for a straight flush, though.

There are four main types of poker: full house, straight, two pair, and no pair. A full house is a pair of kings or better, plus two jacks or higher. The next highest is four of a kind, which is any combination of cards. A pair is a hand that contains two cards of the same rank, plus a third card of a different rank. No pair is a hand that contains nothing, such as an ace and a queen.
